Civit cat are natural to Limpopo, Polokwane, South Africa and are fount at Kilima Private Game Reserve and Spa. Experions on a game drive or walk their favoured habitats include woodland, savanna, and mountain biomes and many are faced with severe loss of habitat; several species are considered vulnerable and the Otter Civet is classified as endangered. Some species of civet are very rare and elusive and hardly anything is known about them.

The African civet is an omnivorous, taking small vertebrates, invertebrates, eggs, carrion, vegetable and seeds. It is capable of taking on poisonous invertebrates and snakes. Prey is primarily detected by excellent smell and sound rather than by sight.

Kingfisher bird the adult has a bright blue head, back, wing panel and tail. The under parts of the wings are white, but it has a blue breast band on the wing. The shoulders are black. The flight of the Blue-breasted Kingfisher is rapid and direct. They sit in a three and dive into the water to catch small vis. The large bill has a red upper mandible and black lower mandible. The legs are bright red to pink. They eat mainly insects and small vis.. The Sable antelope.It ranges from 117 to 143cm,tall at shoulder and messures 190 to 225cm. A tail of 37-76cm.

Sable antelope can weigh from 150-270kg.

Males are slightly larger than females. Females are chestnut to dark brown, while males are very distinctively black.Both sexses have white underbellies, white cheeks and white chins.The livespan is up to 18 years. Sables eat mid-lenght grasses and leaves. Sables will visit salt licks and have been known to chew bones to collect minerals.

Sable antelope form herds of 10 to 30 females and calves is led by a single male, called a bull.
